POLITICAL SYSTEM & PEOPLE CHANGE

It seems no more chance changing the political system and people in our country? Being a Filipino Overseas Worker (OFW) I was dismayed on the actions of our incumbent and newly elected senators arguing among themselves who are the real “Oppositions” while in congress arguing who will lead the Blue Ribbon Committee, Speaker of the House and Majority Floor Leaders. These people are actually dumb and never consider what is good for the sake of our country and its people in majority. In the past years experienced, we see these politicians bugging and digging their garbage life and suing each other inside congress and senate for all year round talking about their anomalies. The Filipinos need services from these people to draft and execute a plan how to save this poor nation to at least people can live with average life standing.
 
The Filipinos as a whole never learned and awakened on what is really happening in our country, we are all bright in minds but our eyes are closed to see what’s going on around us.
 
Politicians are like Herod during the time of our Lord Jesus Christ, they take the high seats to be popular and center of attraction, wealthy, power and authority. They have the common characteristics of greediness, materialistic and lusting hearts. To these vultures and crocodiles hands where majority of the Filipinos entrusted their future in them.
 
The real essence of politics is that, politicians should serve and protect the people but in the opposite people was the one serving them like gods. If a well known politician will come to visit one place in the country, the preparation is unimaginable on how the local government official spend time and money just to satisfy the eyes of these politician.
 
Political dynasty or traditional politicians are just going round and round in circle in the political arena, what have these dumb people contributed in our country for the past 37 years since I was at young age in the ‘70s the first time I heard the names of these politicians (Marcos, Enrile, Pementel, Macapagal, Magsaysay, Arroyo, Guingona, Aquino, Angara, Escudero, etc.) in which up to now are still circulating in the political system. They are father and son or mother and daughter tandems and vise versa, some of these politicians even hated once by the people but later came back and in the picture again.
 
Filipinos are light hearted people and easy to forget but never recognized their situation for so long time now passed in the life of every citizen, what change these politicians contributed in our country? I know one thing for sure; they made themselves wealthy from stealing tax payer’s money and enjoyed luxury life while many Filipinos are in miserable condition and deep poverty.
 
I wish that, Filipinos will put back their senses and remember that once we Filipinos are well known as very popular far better than other Asian countries for being the first Industrialized Nation in Asia and everyone is very proud of. The later, everything has collapsed along with our dignity when these selfish, greedy, crook politicians started reign in the government for the sake of their own interest.
 
The Japanese government officials are good example for Filipino politicians to take as a role model for them to follow, if found guilty they kill themselves known as “Hara-Kiri”, similarly with the Koreans they put behind bars guilty government officials when committed and charged with any crime while in service. In the contrary, our politicians are very proud of being “Magnanakaw” and no one dares to sue and put them in jail due to what so called political immunity (only in the Philippines ).
 
We have a saying in Pilipino, “Kung ano ang Puno siya ang Bunga” and if a father proud of his son no matter what we say in English “Like Father like Son” aren’t we worried with our current political system? Father has died or retired and the son or daughter will inherit and continue. Only God and history can judge us and these crook politicians.
 
The Philippines form of government is like “Mafia” headed by a Godfather and sub godfathers (“The Untouchables”) with their goons running the show using the power of authority, guns and money.
 
There is no political will to implement the law and order in our country, we have law but applicable for the poor only, we have the money to fund and support livelihood projects to strengthen our economy for the benefit of the masses but only few crook politicians and government officials in-charged benefited from the funds.
 
Our country is now at the stage of malignant cancer affecting our society that only God’s miracle can heal this disease at this point in time, the only chance I see as a remedy is that all Filipinos will join hand in hand altogether and submit everything to God to have fear and give the full authority reigning us above all.
 
Let these politicians will judge themselves on their evil artworks and to repent, let us stop judging since man cannot judge fellow man for we are all sinners like others. Filipinos must start assessing themselves and put God first in their lives then surely everything will become organized. Other than this, it will be a big question mark (?) for the Filipinos fate in this generation and future generations to come.
